Our mission is to mobilize the local church to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.
Serving the communities of Hammond, Munster, Highland & Griffith, Indiana.
December 2011
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Welcome to the web-site of Love In the Name of Christ. Thank you for your interest in our ministry to people with needs in the local area.
The volunteers have been very busy doing intakes and verifications so that network churches can be provided with families who need help with Christmas. We value your prayer support to help us remain focused on our mission to honor the Lord while serving others and not ourselves.
Thank you to every congregation and every person who helped with providing personalized food baskets for Thanksgiving. One church delivered individual hot meals to two senior housing communities in Hammond. Many people were loved In the Name of Christ.
We are in great need of furniture donations and people willing to help with pick-ups and deliveries. Needed are beds, bed frames, small - medium sized chest of drawers, small kitchen tables and chairs, end tables (not glass). Items need to be gently used and in good condition. They should not be stained.
During the month of December our office hours fluctuate. So, please call first before coming unannounced.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. I John 3:17-18 |
